FINAL ACT DISCUSSION!!! (SPOILERS!!!)

Man, did this act have everything and MORE!There's just so much to talk about! Some of the highlights included:

Mercury getting a sword (as hinted at during the Darkury arc and one act before that), Jupiter getting a synth (spl?) and Mars using both her's and Minako's tamborines to give herself two swords.

Princess Sailormoon creating youmas for herself! Actually I have a theory that these might have been her servants in her past life... I'm not sure, but great to see!

A suprisingly effective scene with Beryl and Jaedite. Very simply but it really got to me, especially with all of Beryl's history.

With one line, Luna brought together all three forms of Luna into a single character. Plushie Luna, Human Luna and Sailor Luna were very different characters, with there seeming like a 30 year age difference, but with human Luna looking at the impending doom and holding her love and whispering "Artemis" in a soft mature, adult voice.... her whole character finally made sense!

Princess Sailormoon levitating rocks, ala Yoda.

Again.... the Inner's weapons!

The death of EVERYONE. Got to see Naru, Matoki, Nephie, Haruna, Mama and Shingo one last time, well before....

THE REBIRTH!!! It looked like everyone was reborn with no memories of their past like s1 anime.... but then "USAGI!!!". Love it. NOW the team is finally together!!!

There had better be a second season, especially after the final words: See You Again...

Moonlight Real Girl Memorial Box Set!

I bought myself a copy of (what looks like the final PGSM cds) The Moonlight Real Girl Memorial Box Set which includes one cd full of 43 tracks of background instrumental music, another with all of Minako Aino's hits and the final special DJ Moon cd! These three cds come in a hard cardboard redish, pinkish box with engraved gold outline of Princess Sailormoon and the cd set title.

Also included with the boxset is a booklet with info on the entire run of the show (airdates for each episode, etc), info and pics of ALL the PGSM cds released so far and general info on the cast and crew!

I'll have a full review up within 12 hours, but right now I'm giving it a 5/5 rating! A must have!!!

Act 48! (Burning Mandala!!!)

These acts just keep getting better and better! Not only did we get a new opening clip featuring now Sailor Luna and a deceased Sailor Venus but 3 new attacks are introduced including my personal all time fave; Burning Mandala! Not only this, we got TWO death scenes of major characters.

SPOILER SPACE!!!

SPOILER SPACE!!!

SPOILER SPACE!!!

SPOILER SPACE!!!

SPOILER SPACE!!!

Mio AND Tuxedo Mask! Tuxedo's was coming a mile away but Mio's was really tragic and sudden. She was pretty much hit down while running in terror from a Metallia controled Endymion! I couldn't speak for a good 5 minutes after that scene!

Oh, yeah, as we all guessed, Usagi has to kill Mamoru. Is Metallia dead? Looks like it as next episode, entitles; The Last Act seems to be about the Inners fighting..... Princess Sailormoon!!!

Act 47 (get the tissues ready)

Well, Blogger seems to finally be working so here's the post I wrote minutes after the latest act finished!

I seriously didn't see this kind of episode happening in PGSM. I just didn't expect the writers and director to be capable of this kind of artistic and creaive telling of a story. They use several techniques that make this episode stand above the rest including sepia tone, flashbacks, flashforwards and.... good acting! I have never really been emotional about an episode of this series but, while I didn't cry, I was definitly disturbed by several of the casts' superb acting and the story in general. Mars and Venus obviously and Jupiter also offering some nice backup. Ami is suprisingly unaffected (externally anyway) but that makes sense when you consider that she never was that close to Minako. Usagi is...well... Usagi. I'd say she looks slighly retarded in her crying scene.... but her fans might start bashing me. ;)

5/5 episode! See it for yourself! Only 2 more episodes left!

Next episode: Did someone say Dark Endymion? ;)
