Forums on their way!

Well I've found a new host and am in the process of signing up for it. This new host features PHP support so I can make some new and better forums! Hopefully everything will be transferred and up by this time tomorrow.... but no promises! ;)

Have also been reminded about the fan art and fan fics which have to be uploaded! I havn't forgotten don't worry! And to the MORON who sent me a 1 meg fan art file to my inbox.... thanks a LOT. because of the size I couldn't receive any email regarding the new hosting. BTW, I didn't even look at your art, I simply pressed delete.

Something else... I've got a few articles in my head that need to be said. There are a few issues arising online that I'm starting to have issues with. If I have time tomorrow afternoon after the upgrade I'll fill you all in.

Gemini Update!

A very generous update at the Gemini Project!

Gemini Project Update
February 10, 2004
We have been receiving a large amount of e-mail asking about updates to the page and information on the game, since we haven't updated in a couple of weeks. Yes, the project is still active.

There are some practical limits on what we can present at our next meeting about Gemini, so we have completed work on the presentation updates. It may not be necessary to make another presentation at all, as we might just begin discussions on approval for a game prototype. We may not need to present the animation again, since we presented it at our last meeting. The posterboard game box seemed to be more impressive anyway. Funny how that works. We spent five months on the animation and four days on the posterboard game box.

Basically, we're waiting for a response to our first presentation for the time being. If the response is favorable, then we will continue work with the prototype. Discussions should resume soon.

Until then, we're considering some kind of web site update to emphasize just how many people have contributed to this project, and how many people would like to see an English-language video game commercially available. It appears the donations program won't be necessary. So far the best idea we've had is to put up an icon for each survey response all on the same page (2900+ icons) each representing people who want to buy the game. There is also a survey section in the animation which we could convert and add to the page. It has quotes from some of the survey comments and the results (95% would buy the game, etc.), with "Hukkatu no Serenade" from "Sailor Moon R" playing in the background. Perhaps we could add some of the graphs from our written documentation from the presentation as well. It all depends on what the most practical presentation format is.

Ideas for this page are welcome . I think I can speak for our production house, representatives and company when I say we are literally exhausted. The amount of work people invested in this project, even though we all knew we might not be able to build the game, is really incredible.

But none of this would have been possible without our guests and the other sites that have generously promoted the Gemini Project. This page remains the second most popular on any of our sites by total pageviews. That's rather remarkable since this page isn't linked from any of our other sites.

We'll be publishing the survey results in our next update, along with some more information and ideas for the "we want to buy the game" page. Please e-mail if you have any comments or questions.

98% Online!!!

Just uploaded EVERYTHING (except for the profiles!)! That almost everything online and working! I'll get the profiles up tomorrow and the forums by the weekend!

I also added a few new links on this main page with one to EmailCash.com.au, a great way to make cash online for us Aussies! ;) I also rigged that small Maneki Neko in the bottom right corner so he changes depending on the time of day (just like the layout!). At night he's a black Maneki Neko to ward of evil and in daylight he's gold to bring us good fortune!

New Affiliate & More Updates!

Everyone check out our new Moonkitty affiliate; SailorMau.tk! It's a great site, highly original and really on the move! Plus it's run by one of our very own staff members, Sailor Mau!

On the content side of things, I've updated and uploaded the history section which features most of the past Moonkitty.NET layouts and comparisson graphics of the day and night versions of the current one. ;) I also weeded out some dead links on the main page and changed (by request) the "visited links" text colours. Hopefully they're easier to read now.

Today's word is: arigato = thanks

Welcome to the new me!

When I realised that my little Artemis shrine (well what started out as one anyway) was turning 5 years old, I was seriously shocked. Not only because of how fast the past 5 years have gone, but because of what a milestone this is for a Sailormoon fan site. So many legendary Sailormoon sites have gone offline in the past year; The Amazoness Quartet, Small Lady... even more have become static as their webmaster/istress losses interest in the site or Sailormoon entirely... The online Moonie community sure does look different now than it did way back in 1999....

Anyway, I'll be reminising later, right now I'm just hyped that I finally decided on a new layout for this major moment in Moonkitty.NET's history. What do you think? It's basically designed around the original ending credits for the Sailormoon S Movie (where Luna transforms!) but it's so much more. Check out the site between 4am - 7pm and then again between 7pm - 4am. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised!

P.S. Almost ALL of the site is offline as I'm updating the new look. Give me 24 hours and all will be right with the world. ;)

2 more years!

Well I just renewed Moonkitty.NET's domain name for another 2 years! I would have renewed for another 5 but I'm trying to save right now plus I can always renew it for a further 2 years whenever I want.

Also after surfing all the html and javascript sites that google would find for me I have found several of the codes that I need for the new site layout to work! It's going to rock seriously! Am aiming for the new site to be online tonight!

Today's word is: osoku = late

GREAT IDEA!!!

Just had a major creative breakthrough for the new Moonkitty.NET layout! The main reason the relaunch's been taking so long has been because I want it to be something special, something unique that hasn't been done on a Sailormoon website before.

Well 5 minutes I got an idea that'll blow everyone away (I hope!). I just need to see if it's actually possible first! So right now I'm surfing all the html and javascript sites I know! If all goes to plan, I'll have the new site online by tomorrow night!

Today's word is: Let's take a break today! It's the weekend!
