I'm continuing the Second Stage Sailor Moon Musicals with three of the late Miyuki Kanbe's musicals which form the "Last Dracul Trilogy" (musical 1, musical 2 and musical 3) and the first musical of Marina Kuroki, Birth of the Princess of Darkness, Black Lady which also features one of the early Chibi Usa's returning in the role of the adult Black Lady!

Hope you all like them and find them useful! The hours and hours put into writing the summaries, taking the screencaps and coding the pages really takes it's toll. Shopping info will be added at a later date for those interested.

I know I say this all the time, but if you haven't seen a Sailor Moon Musical yet, don't just watch the random clips on YouTube. Check out an entire musical. It's a completely different experience!

P.S. On a more personal note, I'd like to thank everyone who's emailed me this past week (not you, Mr Viagra or you Miss Fat Loss) to wish me happy holidays, give me feedback or even ask me a question. I think any Sailor Moon webmaster would agree that friendly emails from people who read your site not only motivates you but inspires you to make an even better site.

I also love all the people who have been commenting lately! It's great to know people are reading and interested in this site.

So how was your Christmas? Hope you had a great time your family, friends or just had an amazing single Christmas.

Did you get any Sailor Moon pressies? I actually got given a Sailor Uranus doll which was rather fun!

I'd like to thank Icera and Elly for giving me these amazing Christmas 2008 presents. Icera I love your avatars so much! I wish I had the skill you have!

Quite a few Sailor Moon webmasters are on holiday this week so updates are far and few but there's still quite a bit of action going on.

Elly from The Funny Faces Gallery has created a gallery for the Sailor Moon R movie and added several cool icons worth checking out.

She's also updated Ballads & Bows with a fresh new layout and mission statement for the site.

Sailor Tiger's Grotto has added several new items.

The official Sailor Moon site has changed it's layout back to a previous one to get rid of the Christmas theme. Most likely it will update in a few days for the New Year.

And that's about it! I've got several major cool updates for the site coming within the next 24 hours so stay tuned!

It's Christmas Eve and I hope you're all having a blast!

Personally I'm just about to start a Christmas Special Marathon! Fun, fun, fun!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone!!! As a special treat, instead of featuring a Sailor Moon Christmas Music Video, I'm going to share something very cool with you all that I just found and had no idea it even existed until now: The Dreaming Moon Christmas Celebration!!!

It's a live Christmas show performed in Japan in 1993 by the voice actresses of Sailor Moon and the other Sailors! How cool it that!

Found it on YouTube in three parts. The whole thing goes for about half an hour, so grab some egg nog, get the gingerbread men ready and get into the Christmas spirit Moonie style!!!

Just in time for Christmas! Have revamped the Sailor Moon Christmas Special Mini Site so it's no longer a pop-up page so more of you should be able to access it now.

Edited a lot of the pages and added a whopping 58 Sailor Moon Christmas Icons / Avatars to the Christmas Icons & Avatars page!!!

Will be adding an images gallery in the next few days (Christmasy Sailor Moon images are so hard to come by!) and a few more things.

There have been LOTS of Sailor Moon music videos that try to combine footage from the live action and anime and I've never really seen one that pulls it off... until now!

This great Christmas Sailor Moon music video set to Carol of the Bells mixes footage so well, it's seamless! Excellent shots chosen and the timing is spot on!

I know this isn't Sailor Moon but like it or not comparisons are going to be made. Also while I'm not making any promises, if this Dragonball Movie kicks arse in the box office, it would make a lot of sense for film houses, producers and directors to start looking at a Sailor Moon film given that it's fanbase is so massive and of a similar genre (anime to live action).

Here's the Japanese Trailer that was leaked earlier today. It's the first official trailer released anywhere and gives a pretty good idea of what the film will look like. Kind of reminds me of the original Mortal Kombat film from the 90s.

Quite a bit if news this week! (Sorry it's a few days late! Had some SERIOUS neck trouble yesterday, but am fine now).

The official site has updated it's animated intro to include the Outer Sailor Scouts / Soldiers! I wonder what they'll do when the animated manga on the site reaches the Stars arc (they haven't made web-chibis of the Starlights yet). They've also re-edited some existing images to make a rather nice Christmas layout for the main site as well. Nice.

The Sailor Moon Funny Faces Gallery has uploaded several other images.

SailorMoonLinks.com has a HUGE list of Sailor Moon mentions in news articles and online.

DiviantArt (never really understood what that site was about) held a very cool Redesign Sailor Moon Contest. There were some amazing entries but the winner was (while drawn well)a "French Maid" Sailor Moon?!?! That's hardly a new concept. Personally I think this redesign of Sailor Uranus should have one. It was one of the few that went with an original concept and is really well drawn.

In site news the affiliates have been cleaned up. All those that hasn't updated in a year were removed from the side bar but their buttons are still on the link page.

Have also been working on some Sailor Moon Musical content (not ready yet) and some Sailor Moon Christmas thangs for those of you who love this season as much as I do.

When I was nominated for the Deep Submerge Awards a few months ago I honestly didn't think that I would win any of the categories simply due to the amazing sites that I was competing against. All the nominees possessed superb design and writing skills and had already proved to be legendary in their own rights and the fact that I was even listed on the same page as them was a huge honour.

Imagine my utter joy this morning when I got an email announcing Moonkitty.NET was the winner in the Best Writing Style category!



I'd like to thank everyone who nominated Moonkitty.NET and voted for my little baby, long time visitors from the days of Artemis The Myth, The Legend, The HERO, new visitors that perhaps just discovered the site this year and everyone who has helped, emailed me or contributed to the site in any way since it came online in 1999.

Thank you everyone and congratulations to all the other winners, runners-up and nominees.

Was looking through the Tsuki Mubi Contest Entries and simply fell in love with this video. I've always loved this song and relate to it completely (unfortunately? fortunately?).

Accompanied by some great editing and footage of Ami and Nephrite and a hillarious short credits at the end. Definitely my favourite this week!
