Sailor Moon CCG: Sailor Moon Rounup 

Not much going on this week in Sailor Moon news! A cool new site has opened though that looks like a lot of fun, a new live action sailor moon collectable card game! I'm still new to the idea of an online CCG but this looks really well made with some beautiful graphics. If you've got some time to kill, check it out. Back in the real world I've been so busy as my school is making us all work 6 day work weeks for the next two weeks which had drained all of my energy. Still want to get the guides for the Special Act and Act Zero up by this weekend though so wish me luck! Once those two are done I'll finish the DVD reviews, attacks and then the site cleaning and reorganising can begin! Like this site? Sailor Moon Toei Poll Results: Sailor Moon Roundup 

The results of the Toei poll are out and I'm thrilled to say that Sailor Moon scored the most votes out of every series in every genre! Here's hoping Toei sees this and attempts to release Sailor Moon abroad once again. pgsm-fanfiction.net has uploaded a new site skin to match Kirari's new look. There will be a Naoko Takeuchi and a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon panel at the upcoming Matsuricon. If you're heading over there on September 7th - 9th 2007, make sure to check these panels out! Kirari Super Live and Tuxedo Smoking Bomber 

Got a surprise for you today! Just finished the guide to the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Kirari Super Live event! Lots of fun and well worth a read! Also completed the review for the Kirari Super Live DVD which is surprisingly very different from the other DVDs in the series. As a special bonus, I've also written an attack guide for Tuxedo Mask's only live action attack, Tuxedo Smoking Bomber! Help Subtitle Sailor Stars! - Sailor Moon Roundup 

Shibue Joji (live action Tuxedo Mask) can be seen in a new manga based live action Japanese drama series called, Hotaru no Hikari. Apparently it's a small role (thanks to MnemosyneFan for the info!) but he's in it. A strange, yet typical Japanese trailer can be seen here on YouTube. Unfortunately Shibby isn't in it. UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com is celebrating it's 6th Anniversary! Sorry I haven't wished you congrats personally! Have just been distracted lately with updates and social life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! SailorWar.net has updated with a new page about the Sailor Moon anime movies. And for those who missed Tuesday's News Flash, Toei is officially conducting a poll at ANN concerning what anime series US people would like to see subtitled into English and released Stateside. "Sailor Moon" includes the entire series. Every season. Including Sailor Stars. This is a HUGE chance for us to get Sailor Stars released in an official capacity in English. Important News!!! 

Toei has asked the AnimeNewsNetwork to conduct a poll on which anime series people would like to see released subtitled in the US. Among them in Sailor Moon! Jay from Genvid wrote: "The poll connects a number of curious dots. In March, Toei began offering the show as part of its AnimeBB package in Japan (and as we reported earlier in the week , it's also part of a new "unlimited" package.) In May, Geneon mentioned the license is on lockdown . Now Toei is looking to see which shows they should offer to US customers, and if this Sailor Moon is listed there, it's more then likely they've got the rights to bring it here. In addition, all five seasons are included as part of the poll." So what are you waiting for? This may be our chance to get Sailor Stars released officially with English subtitles!!! VOTE NOW!!! Sailor Moon Roundup 

Guess what! I've completed the main episode guides in the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Episode Guide! All I have left now are the DVD only specials and the musical performance! Woooo!!! Oh, and a few... HUNDRED attacks. ;) The Oracle has been updating a bit lately with some episode info and Sailor Moon Musical content as well as some encyclopaedia additions. Way to go! SailorWar.net also has some new info up. If you haven't seen this new site yet, make sure you do! A new Auction Spotlight has been added to the right hand menu. Pretty cool! Updates automatically with the latest Sailor Moon online auctions. One of my favourite live action sites, Kirari-PGSM has updated yet again with a completely new layout (nice!) as well as some cool costume analysis for you cosplayers. Cool new music videos too! The Fighter4Luv Sailor Stars English Dub has released a very cool trailer for the upcoming episodes! Seriously watch this trailer! Incredibly well done! Email and Feed readers click HERE. Genvid has uploaded videos of the PGSM panel at Otakon HERE. Pretty cool though some of the speach was hard to make out. SailorMoonLinks.com has been updating a bit as well. That's a bout for Sailor Moon news this week! Concerning site updates, expect the final live action Sailor Moon DVD (from the regular set anyway) to be online soon as well as a lot more attacks. Will also be cleaning up the site a bit more graphically (you may have noticed some changes here and there) and seeing what I can do for Internet Explorer users as the site just looks crap for them. Sailor Moon DVDs and Attacks! 

Heaps of updates this afternoon! Have finally reviewed live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon DVDs 10 and 11 featuring Minako Aino and Princess Sailor Moon menus! Pretty cool, check 'em out! Have also added a lot more guides to all those attacks that have been appearing lately such as Princess Sailor Moon's Teleport Power and Harp Healing Power, Sailor Mercury's Aqua Storm and Aqua Cyclone as well as Sailor Luna's Hearing Power. Sailor Moon's Identity Revealed! 

Am speeding through these live action Sailor Moon episode guides! Have added Act 37 through to 44! Heaps happens in these episodes! A character dies, Sailor Moon and Jupiter reveal their identities to Naru and Motoki, some great writing and dramatic acting! If you haven't seen Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon yet, have a look at my live action Sailor Moon guide. It's well worth your time! Now, because towards the end of the series, there's a new attack added in almost every episode, I just haven't had the time to write the guides for the new attacks yet nor have I had time to do the respective DVD reviews, but don't worry, will try get them up tomorrow and the guides for the final 5 episodes within a day or two! New Sailor Moon Musical? - Sailor Moon Roundup 

Genvid has posted up translations from the official Japanese Sailor Moon site which has updated it's layout and several pages for the month of August. Main updates include a new Flash game and a mailbox update. Of particular interest is a response to an email about the Sailor Moon Musicals which we all know seemingly finished a few years ago; "I'm so happy to hear your daughter watches Sailor Moon! Unfortunately, the musicals are on hiatus now. Please keep supporting them so that they could some day return." Now "hiatus" is basically indirect Japanese for "cancelled" but I find it interesting that they do mention the possibility of them coming back. It's not like they say buy the anime dvds and the anime will come back. We know that ain't gonna happen. I know the musicals make a lot of their money from the amazingly expensive Sailor Moon Musical DVDs. I wonder if they are shown there's still a market, they'll start making them again? This is purely my speculation, but fingers crossed! Apparently in the August edition of NewTypeUSA, Sailor Moon is mentioned. Here's a quote written by Lily-Chan from the Genvid forums: Reader Feedback- What would you remake? We posed this question to visitors of newtype-usa.com: Which anime (made before the year 2000) would you like to see a modern-day remake of. Here are some of the responses. I would say Sailor Moon. I'd like it if the first and second season were redone to look more like the animation style of Sailor Stars. It'd also be nice to have one really good voice cast do the entire series, and have Sailor Stars finally released in the US. And of course it'd be especially nice to have uncut and unedited dubbed versions too. Princess Sailor Moon Appears! 

Here we go! The review of the ninth live action Sailor Moon DVD is now online! Queen Beryl, huh? Who'd have thought!
