Gemini (Sailormoon Computer Game) Update

I know this news is a bit old but with the new update system I can post it for all to see. The following is from the latest update on the Gemini Project's official site.

Gemini Project Update
December 26, 2003
Well, we didn't get the information we wanted, or from where we thought we would. However, we did find an answer to our question. Unfortunately, it supports the opposite position from the one we were told would be best for the Gemini Project.

So we're making a second presentation anyway. When all else fails, keep talking. :)

If we can get approval from this presentation, the project will go into "production" with a one-level playable prototype of the game, which we hope will help get the entire project approved. Since we have already completed 3D models of all nine senshi, we have already done quite a bit of the work. We will be ready to begin work on the level itself, special effects, music, cinematics and menus as soon as the design is ready.

The game design will take about a month to write, and won't include everything in the complete design. It will be just enough for one level, and probably just one character, unless we can modify the engine to use any of the nine senshi characters.

The prototype will probably be an indoor level, even though the game itself will include numerous outdoor environments. The engine we will probably use is actually very good at rendering outdoor game environments, so we might change to an outdoor level before we begin work. We'll probably use the same music we used in the demo animation.

If we do get approval for the next presentation, this page will begin redirecting to a new web site soon.
