Welcome to the first Sailor Moon News Roundup for 2008!!!
Senshi Card-Mania!-R has updated with a whole new site skin collection and several new features for those into online card games! Well worth a look!
The Oracle has also updated with a new layout for the new year! Plenty of content updates as well!
Toonzone has a cool interview with James Marsters (Spike from Buffy and Angel) who is in the new Dragonball Z live action movie. While I was not a fan of the anime at all I'm very curious about this new movie which could be interesting. If it does well in theatres it would also show studios that an anime can be made into a hit live action movie and may renew interest in a live action Sailor Moon movie.
I just came across this very cool fan fic site that asks the question, what would Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon have been like if Tuxedo Mask was the star and instead of brainwashing the four generals, Beryl controlled Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. Very very cool idea! Over 50 "episodes" written!
BSSMLA has a massive update on the main page with site updates, con news and more all covered.
A very old and famous site, A Sailor Moon Romance has officially closed. It will be missed.
Chibiland has been doing some cleaning and fixing-uping.
UsagiandMamoruUniverse.com (I always feel like rewatching PGSM when I see that layout!) has updated with seasons greetings, personal pet photos (cute!) and some great new icons well worth your downloading time.
Neo Nobility has a nice layout for the new year! Very fresh and kind of cool as she's using the image she used in the site's first 88x31 button (I think).
Moonlit Stars has a completely new layout which I was very late in reporting! Sorry!
The Official Japanese Sailor Moon Site has updated with new digital manga, more letters (though nothing of interest there) and a "day in the life" of Chibi Usa / Rini.
The Deep Submerge Directory has slightly tweaked the site layout (I like!) and several sites have been added.
I just realised a LOT of Sailor Moon sites are updating! YAY!!!
Unless my feedburner counter is buggy, it looks like Moonkitty.NET has gained over 2000 new feed subscribers within the last month! If this is indeed the case, here's a big welcome to all the new readers!
While I was on holiday in Melbourne, Australia I was having a coffee in Starbucks and heard some early 20-somethings talking about "that old cartoon, Sailor Moon"! Pretty cool that the show's still in the public's mind!
Also, while in Australia I managed to pick up all my Sailor Moon DVDs and bring them back to Tokyo with me so expect a LOT of updates this year!
I am still accepting Affiliate / Sister / Brother Site applications! If you're interested, Contact Me. If you already have, I'll be going through my emails this week and should be replying to you any day now.
Any fans of CLAMP need to be checking out this new Tsubasa OAV, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Tokyo Revelations! Incredible animation and a super fast pace. If you haven't checked out Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga or anime I highly recommend you do so.
Thanks for mentioning about my site! I appropriate it!
It's sad to here that "A Sailor Moon Romance" is gone, but did you read about the news about the library for the fan fics? As stated over at http://www.moonromance.net/ Denjana Talis maded a updated in November stating "The forum had a good run, but it is now a thing of the past. For the fanfiction library, however, all hope is not yet lost. I am committed to doing all I can to restore the stories that were hosted here, and hope I will soon be able to announce a resurrection. Updates will be posted here when I have them."
Just thought to past this information onto you. Eventhough the forum is gone, there is still some hope for the fanfics that were hosted there.
