Just read this over at TvNihon and am shocked.Miyuki Kanbe who performed as Sailor Moon in the Third Stage Sailor Moon Musicals has passed away at age 24 on the 20th of June (yesterday). Apparently on the 18th she had a heart failure which resulted in her passing yesterday.
She was made famous by her role as Sailor Moon (she was personally my favourite) in the Sailor Moon Musicals and also starred in (the highly recommended) Kamen Rider Hibiki tv series (which also starred Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon's Jyouji Shibue).
She will be remembered.
Update: Miyuki's death is really rocking the Moonie online communities. Personally I'm still in shock at what has happened.
While browsing through several Sailor Moon Musical (Sera Myu) fansites I came across this video dedicated to her at Sera Myu Antics. It features the first edition of "Ginga no Sanctuary" (The Galaxy's Sanctuary) and is a simply beautiful and appropriate song for such an occasion.
If you're like me and you get emotional easily, prepare yourself. If this is your first exposure to a Sailor Moon Musical, I hope it inspires you to go out and watch more from the many shows performed during it's run.
