Sailor Moon Roundup: I Don't Want to be a Pancake!

Sailor Moon Anime, Manga, Movie, Live Action and Musical (Sera Myu) News.

I made it! A Friday update on a Friday!!!

Having switched to a MAC (I'm a PC) has really slowed me down as I addapt to the HUGE learning curve. Spent 5 hours yesterday trying to find a MAC equivalent to Windows' NOTEPAD (none of the iMAC programs allowed me to edit my php/html files!) and will be getting Photoshop installed in a few days so once that happens, expect the updates to start again.

This whole crash has been a bit annoying as I wanted to get a LOT done for this site's 10th Birthday next month. Obviously I've had to make a few changes in that plan.

On a side note, since I'm now on a widescreen iMAC, expect a LOT more widescreen wallpapers for higher resolutions! Some of this layout is also a bit glitchy on a MAC (as well as a lot of other sites) so this experience will allow me to test Moonkitty.NET properly in the future for all users.

To everyone that's emailed me lately... again, I'll try and reply this weekend! Last time I said that though, my computer blew up!

On to the Roundup!

  • Snowdrop has uploaded the English version and original Japanese version of the rare Parallel Sailor Moon manga story. A must read for every Sailor Moon fan. Official story by Naoko Takeuchi that takes place in an alternate parallel future.

  • The Sailor Moon Funny Faces Gallery has updated with heaps of new content worth checking out. (Pssst! We'll do that interview one day guys!)

  • Ballads and Bows is back!

  • SailorCosmos.org has a new Sims story up.

  • The Official Sailor Moon Site has finished with the S manga arc! Next month: SuperS!!!

  • Happy Birthday Usagi (webmistress, not Sailor Moon)! Check out her wallpapers!

  • The SailorStarsFandub has an amazing preview of the transformations online! ALL the voices are done by fans! Incredible! Every one of the sounds just like their tv counterpart!!! Especially love Mercury, Mars, Venus and Moon!!! Note: Click on the HQ box for a higher quality version.

They also have a preview of the episode here. Great work guys! Can't wait!

For more on this brilliant fandub, check out my interview with Corey HERE.

  • The Deep Submerge Directory's new layout is now completed and I LOVE it!!!

That's all for this week! Have a great weekend and see you on Monday!

Our notepad equivalent (which is technically a whole lot better and has a lot more functions) is TextEdit =)

Yeah but every time I went top open my .php files it actually opened it in TextEdit as a webpage (as you would see in a browser). No way I could view the code as in NOTEPAD. Text Wrangler is pretty cool though.

    That's weird x_X

Yeah no idea why it happened. Compared to osing all my itunes library of 6 years.... that's nothing. ;) Thank God I buy cds and can recover MOST of the files lost. All my purchased iTunes Store files gone though.

Good to start fresh though. Pretty liberating!
