Moonie Updates

Sailor Moon Anime, Manga, Movie, Live Action and Musical (Sera Myu) News.
Good morning / evening! Quite a few Sailor Moon fans updating this week so let's get to it!

  • SailorMoonWorld.it has another exclusive Italian image on their gallery!

  • Sailor Moon Obsession continues to post fantastic articles about Moonie fandom!

  • There's a new trailer for the Sailor Moon fan film, "The Last Soldier". Looks amazing!!!

  • Here's a cool video about the location that inspired the Marine Cathedral featured in Sailor Moon S Eps 110 & 111.

  • The next episode of the English Sailor Stars is getting closer to release!

  • Three-Lights.net has some fantastic scans worth checking out!

  • I asked Tokyopop on Twitter if there was any news on the Sailor Moon manga and this is their reply. Oh, well.

  • Here are some great new Sailor Moon card scans at Dreaming Moon!

  • The five main actresses from PGSM have all reunited! There have been reunions in the past but it's been a while since all five have met up. Great photo here! I kind of wish they would invite some of the other actors out like Tux and Luna. That would be really cool. Great, now I feel like rewatching Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon again!

  • I'll finish on a random Moonie find. Have you ever wanted a Sailor Moon golf cart? lol! Kind of reminds me of all the random Ninja Turtle toys that came out in the 90s.

:/ Sucks that nothing new on Tokyopop's side.....And whatever happened to the twitter contest winner?...

Contest results are coming. I'm going to have to set aside a good 5 hours or so to sift through all the entries. Just haven't had that much free time recently.

Thank you for the feature, Brad!

If you ever have the chance to visit Barcelona, Spain, you should definitely see this cathedral for yourself. The interior is not identical to the Marine Cathedral, but the influences are quite obvious - from the snail gargoyles (I love this little touch!) to the star-tipped towers and the silhouette of the building itself.

Enjoying your round-up as always, particularly your coverage of The Last Soldier. However, I just figure that - for what it's worth - that's not a golf cart, it's a pizza delivery scooter. They're pretty common in Japan, and it's a part of the Sailor Moon cake shop/pizza parlour playset. Of course, that doesn't make that whole line of merchandise any less crazy.
